zoo on the roll

On the 25 of September a lady came to our school to talk about animals in the dark.  After she talked about the animals we did a little quiz to test us on our skills about animals.  The quiz was called nocternal or not.  We then moved on to holding and seeing the animals, the animals were a corn snake, millipeed, hermit crab, turantionula, hissing cocroch and a banana tree frog.  I think that the millepeed's legs dug into your hand.  The snake's skin was smooth and the hermet crab's shell was bumpy.  We were not allowed to touch the tourantionula incase its hairs came of.  IC EH

Pudsey Day

On Friday the 16th november it was pudsey day also known as children in need.  This involved a cake stall, a book stall and an unwanted toy stall after school.  Children were aloud to dress up as their hero or heroine, for example Rebecca Adlington, proper super heros and many many more.  Everyone who wanted to wear there own clothes they brought in a pound.  For the stalls they were just donations to buy the things the books, toys cakes that people had kindly made for Pudsey day.  Every time people gave a donation it helps  a child in need to get better or to save their life.
